Bye, Bye Blue house.... Hello Brown!

I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it...
Everything out of my mouth is... maybe we can put that chair there... and paint this room this color....

So much to think about and so many fun and memories to be had and made!
It was almost too perfect! We had our inspection today with all wonderful news, and little Adrayn fell asleep in the midst of the hot n' humid tour. We decided to put him in his soon-to-be bedroom for a nap and this kid was passed out cold for an hour!! This is rare of our little joy, so we took it as a positive sign.

I can't even express how I am looking forward to a garden, and building a patio off the back.... so many fun projects to challenge myself in the future, all with the help of a handsome and skilled craftsman (my beloved Jeremy).
 

Yay!!! I will have a huge BBQ feast one of these days and invite you all over to see what we do to the place next year. Till then, I'm sure I'll keep the updates rolling!

Blue house blues

Little Adrayn,

Your Papa and I are in the process of buying a home for our large n' loving family. This way your brother and sister and you will have a more stable place to make friends instead of renting and not knowing how long we'll be at one place.

We have placed an offer on a blue house about 2 weeks ago, and are still waiting to hear back if we have been accepted. I'm sure you'll find out soon enough that your mama has no patience... especially for things like this.

We patiently wait, and wait. In the meantime we will be looking at other homes, but it's fun to think that as I write this we still have the possibility of the blue house. Where ever we end up, I know we will all make it a beautiful home with all the love we have for each other.

I love you Papa for working so hard to build a beautiful future for us, and for your always growing heart.
I love you Parker for helping me to reevaluate everything with your "why's", and for your positivity.
I love you Presley for your thoughtfulness and creativeness.

Dear Adrayn,

I was just remembering back to when I was so nervous to give birth... asking everyone's advice and waiting for the moment to meet you... my little boy.

Well, that day has come and gone.... along with many more. I am now an official mama, your mama.

This hasn't been the easiest journey, but I wouldn't have it any other way. It all melts away when I wake up to your huge blue eyes and big toothless grin. Although it may not be toothless for long!

I wish I had more time to write to you, but I am just smitten with you... my little love, right now. I want to spend every waking moment just looking at you. What a dork your mama is!
I just find it amazing how one can think they give, but after having a child or being a parent; a whole new meaning appears. I am overjoyed when I have time to take a shower in a week... yes, I said week. My life has totally changed, but all for the better.

I love you Adrayn. I can wait to watch you grow as it is already happening, and too fast at that. Every day you show me something new. I am excited, and sad to see what tomorrow will bring, as I know it will just fly by as today has. Please don't grow up too fast.
